LOVE RECIPE AUDIO  REVEALED SHAAN SE

Nurson Media & Producer Noor Bano Khot & revealed the music of its secret Love Recipe, directed by Amol Shetge at musical event in Mumbai’S SUBURBANS FIVE STARS.  Eminent Bollywood singer Shaan along with singers Bela Shende & June Banerjee performed a few numbers from the movie.  Shaan & Bela’s “Karein Kya Hum”  was pretty melodious and hummable.  Also performing was the band called “SAY” which added to the thrilling evening.

Newcomers Suhail Karim, Rani Agarwal & Dawood Khot shone bright on stage along with the singes. Other stars from the movie viz. Manoj Joshi, Upasna Singh, Atul Parchure, Imran Khan, Suzanne Bernert & J Brandon Hill were present to encourage the newcomers.  Vrijesh Hirji & Sanjay Narvekar could not make it due to personal reasons but they sent their good wishes for the event.  Suzanne Bernert could not resist the urge to give an impromptu performance on her favourite song “Boodoo Boodo” from the movie.

It was also nice to see the ever smiling Shaan making it a point to see that music makers, i.e. composers Sameer Phaterpekar, Samir & Abhishek and lyrics writer Sudhakar Sharma were given due importance to their work at the event.  He said these are the masters due to which singers are able to sing beautiful songs and make a name.  Fans of one of the greatest singer of Bollywood, the late   Mohammed Rafi would instantly draw a parallel where the legend always considered the composers & lyrics writers as his Ustaads, even if they were just debutants.    Besides, he was apparently very tired and the roads leading to venue were blocked due to some procession but Shaan made it a point to attend the event by walking to the venue inspite of all hurdles.  Such attitude combined with a melodious voice has taken Shaan to great heights and he will surely continue his melodious journey.

Love Recipe, as the name suggests, is a fun filled film. It’s about a DJ Rahul Khere who is in love with Tia, a bubbly girl who happens to be the daughter of retired IG of Police Pratap Singh (Manoj Joshi), who post retirement suddenly decides to become a Hindustani in every sense of the word, so Rahul does not fit into this profile. The film is fun filled as Rahul’s effort to woo Tia’s father to approve their relationship and how he becomes the Real Hindustani in her dad’s eyes.  All ends well and Pratap Singh ultimately agrees that Hindustaniyat is not about clothes and language but Phir Bhi Dil has to be Hindustani!

The movie will hit theatres on 25th May, 2012.

The Chevrolet Global Indian Music Academy (GiMA) Awards, the most definitive recognition platform of the Indian Music industry,is all set to kick offits 3^rdeditionby inviting entries. GiMA provides a unified platform to celebrate and recognise those who push the boundaries of Indian Music, across a wide range of film and non-film music genres. This year, for the first time, GiMA has included new categories in POP, ROCK, DANCEand GHAZAL, making it a total of 13 awards in the Non-Film music categories and 10 awards for Film music.With greater representation of Indie artistes, GiMA has incorporated more contemporary music this year.

Speaking on the occasion, GiMA Advisory Board member and eminent singer-music director Shankar Mahadevan said, “GiMA has been a pioneering effort to bring together the entire music industry on one illustrious platform to honor artists & musicians in front of their peers. I am personally very excited about the new categories being introduced this year. Entries for this year’s GiMA Awards will close on April 25^th, 2012.

GiMA is the ONLY Music Awardsplatform with a voting process based on peer-to-peer recognition. Nominees are selected by aneminent Jury panel of over 30 members. The GiMA Academy, comprising over 300 members from the music & film industry encompassing industry stalwarts, music directors, producers, lyricists, singers, technicians, composers and leaders of the music industry, then votes for the final winners in a secret ballot process. Some of the eminent names from the Academy includeJaved Akhtar, Dr. L. Subramanium, Pt. The grand mahurat of Madmidaas Films' Main Aur Mr. Riight Right was held with much pomp and show at the Evershine Mall, Malad.

Cracking the auspicious coconut and sounding the clapboard, veteran music director Bappi Lahiri launched the film in a traditional manner. 

Starring Shenaz Treasury, Barun Sopty, Kavi Shastri, Danny Sura and Varun Khandelwal, Main Aur Mr. Riight Right is a funny-romantic venture telling a story of a young lass in search of her Mr. Right. The storyline boasts of a casting director hoping to make the final cast of her life..

Producer Pooja Gujral said: Romance and comedy are the two genres that the audiences love to watch. The storyline the people will relate to -- it is not preachy but endearing. Besides a fun-filled story, the film also boasts of some good music. The songs will linger even after the film is over."

Bappi Lahiri said: I heard the script and I instantly said yes to the film. People usually associate me with the music of the 80s but mark my words the music that I will compose for Main Aur Mr. Riight Right will be the never heard before kind. I am thoroughly excited to begin recording for the film. I will composing four tracks for the film. And though unusual, it will have the Bappi Lahiri essence.

Director Adeeb Rais said: It is a very feel good and frothy film and that is what sets it apart from the rest." 

Shenaz Treasury said: I play this picky girl looking for her Mr.Rriight. She's a perfectionist and just won't settle for anything less.  In some ways the character is very much like me. And yes, the hunt for mr perfect is still on. Does he exist? I don't have the answer yet.

Amol Shetge’s film ‘LOVE RECIPE’ all set for release in 25^th May 2012

Amol Shetge’s film Love Recipe starring newcomers Suhail Karim and Rani Agarwal along with Manoj Joshi, Upasana Singh, Vrijesh Hirji, Sanjay Narvekar, Atul Parchure, Avantika Kamat, Imran Khan, Suzanne Bernert , J. Brandon Hill and Dawood Khot is all set to hit theatres on 25^th May 2012.

LOVE RECIPE is directed by noted film director Amol Shetge who won the national award for his film ABOLI & has directed several other films like Naam Gum Jayega , Gunaah, Kabhi Kahin to name a few. The film is produced by Noor Bano Khot.

Love Recipe as the name would suggest is a fun-filled film. Its about a D.J. Rahul Kher who is in love with Tia, a bubbly girl who happens to be the daughter of retired I.G. of police Pratap Singh who post retirement has suddenly decided to become Hindustani in every sense of the word. He has suddenly shifted from his starched uniform to traditional kurta pyjamas, does not like the use of English words in conversation. So D.J Rahul does not fit into this profile, the film is fun filled as Rahul’s effort to woo Tia’s father to approve their relationship & how he becomes the Real Hindustani in her dad’s eyes. All ends well and Pratap Singh ultimately agrees Hindustaniyat is not about clothes and language after all. The heart has to be Hindustani.

Meanwhile Carlos, the international terrorist is being briefed by Music Ali, a freaky terrorist leader immersed in old Hindi film songs. The plan is to blast a peace conference happening in Mumbai ten days from now. He sets out on his mission giving rise to another hilarious track.

In a freaky incident Carlos en route his mission gets his head severed and the severed head somehow manages to end up in Rahul's custody. Getting rid of the head becomes the main concern out of which many hilarious situations occur as Rahul and Tia are yet unaware of the fact that the head is of the international terrorist Carlos on which such a huge reward lies.

But fortune provides an opportunity to Rahul to prove his patriotic zeal to his prospective father-in-law when a news telecast announces that the severed head that has been missing belongs to none other than Carlos Randall. Situations lead to an interesting climax and Rahul becomes responsible for causing the arrest of the dreaded terrorist Music Ali Pratap Singh can get no bigger a hero than Rahul for his son-in-law and all ends on a happy note.
