THAI DELIGHTS AT FOODHALL @ PALLADIUM ALL THIS MONTH

Foodhall @ Palladium is here to take care of at least one of those cravings by bringing you the best of Thai cuisine this month. Thai cuisine is a perfect combination of diverse ingredients and herbs infused together. To celebrate this medley of myriad flavors, Foodhall - India’s premium lifestyle food superstore, kick started Thai food fiesta - Yum Thai festival across Foodhall stores in Pune, Bangalore and Mumbai from 7^th June to 7^th July 2015. This food festival is in association with The Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand. The Thailand Consul General Mr. Nat Pinyowattanacheep flagged off the Yum Thai festival at Foodhall @ Palladium last evening. Patrons present at the store got a chance to witness the live cooking demo of scrumptious Thai Green Curry by Mr. Jirajett Wongnorraset.

THE AUTHENTIC THAI DELICACIES AT LIVE COUNTER

Thai food trail begins at the live counter with Red Thai Curry Paste, Green Thai Curry Paste, Pad Thai Noodles, Thai Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce, Sautéed Greens in Basil and Chili sauce. Apart from these lip-smacking Thai dishes, there are many pastes and dipping sauce such as Chili Jaggery Sauce, Tamarind Dipping Sauce and Peanut Dipping Sauce for the patrons. Fruits are used in an innovative manner in salad recipes like Som Tam Salad (green papaya salad), Raw Mango Salad and Thai Pomelo (Grapefruit) Salad.

Offering more to the taste buds of the customers is the Foodhall’s cafe menu - Red Thai Curry with Jasmine Rice, Green Thai Curry with Jasmine Rice, Tofu Satay with Peanut Sauce, Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, Thai Corn Cakes with Sweet Chili Sauce. NIFT Mumbai Presents Design Catalyst 2015 : Graduation Extravaganza

The class of 2015 graduating from NIFT Mumbai campus, showcases its potential through Interactive Exhibitions, Craft Displays & Fashion Shows from the 22^nd to 23^rd May 2015 at CIDCO Convention Centre.

The Grand Finale NIFT Mumbai Final Year Graduation Show 2015 organized by the dynamic NIFT Mumbai Director Nilima Rani Singh, aided by her stellar team of professor’s promises many highlights.  Directed by renowned columnist and Designer Nisha JamVwal the#NIFTMumbai Gradshow 2015 on the 23^rd of May stands apart in its celebrity walk to save traditional weaves & crafts from extinction & exemplifies the 'Make in India' theme exemplified by our Prime Minister.

NIFT Mumbai is involved in reviving the Crafts of Maharashtra & bringing them to the mainstream Commercial platform & has been constantly trying to upgrade the livelihood of the artisans by teaching those new designs & techniques with the help of Centre and the State Govt. NIFT Mumbai prides itself in showcasing the crafts in all its different formats.  In this context to create an awareness of the different Crafts of Maharashtra celebrities from all walks of life will walk ‘for the cause of Craft’.

Ace designer Swapnil Shinde showcased an eclectic assortment of glamorous ensembles, debuting his first men’s capsule along with the alluring and sultry line for women amidst the launch of the new Yamaha Fasico. Designs of ensembles as well as bikes were bold and edgy a perfect blend to reckon with.

On this occasion designer Swapnil Shinde, states,“My association with Yamaha Fascino has been an amazing experience because it was a perfect combination of fashion and bikes. My clothes really blended well with the new model that they have launched tonight. It complimented the color story. MADHURI DIXIT LAUNCHES FITNESS EXPERT LEENA MOGRE’S DEBUT BOOK TITLED ‘TOTAL FITNESS’

One of the pioneers in the health and fitness industry, and the first to introduce the idea of celebrity fitness in India, Leena Mogre is an institution in herself. Her first book titled ‘Total Fitness – The Leena Mogre Way’ published by Random House India and Penguin India was launched by celebrated Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit at Leena Mogre’s gymnasium located in Bandra.

Leena Mogre is armed with a Masters in Food and Science & Nutrition and Sports Nutrition; regaled the guests and media present with incredible anecdotes of success stories. The protagonist of the story of a young girl, Devyani who is a topper and qualified fashion designer….. ….. She is talented and comes from a cultured family …….so wants to take up responsibilities by working in Textile Company….Shalini Sharma who is the better-half of Jaswant Sharma, (owner of Sharma Constructions) sees Devyani and becomes excited to getting her married to Yuvraj, the elder son of Sharma family….Joshiji, father of Devyani couldnot believe when he got marriage proposal from Shalini Sharma….but Devyani  was not happy with all these developments but got convinced after a lucrative offer of opening a textile company after marriage from Shaliniji…..On the other side Yuvraj is in a live-in relationship with his girlfriend in Mumbai that his family is ignorant about…..he uses the family resources in trying out new plans and career options on the unshakable confidence of his mother Shalini…..Jaswant Sharma wishes that his work should be taken over by Rohan,his younger son but he is more inclined towards art and photography…daughter Ritu has no purpose in life and wastes her time in social networking sites…with all this scenario some close relatives want to take advantage by grasping all business of the family.

This is an astrology based episodic show… in which we show the real life stories connected with a common man and what problem he faces if he is having any astrological problem.!! As the stories proceeds, we show how his personal/professional/financial/social life or his nature changes according to the movement of the planets. We also try and make them understand how they can avoid such problems of life by having patience and waiting for the right time to come…

Sundeep Koachar, an astrologer cum anchor of the show comes in between and explains the logical and technical part of the planets and their positions.

3.     Masakali

This is a story of chandani, a beautiful, bold, friendly, jolly and naughty girl, happy go lucky types. That’s why she is being called Masakali by her college friends. She doesn’t believe in society’s conservative thing, She is very open minded… she believes in Love and not hatred… that’s why she doesn’t even want to hurt any guy who falls in love with her.  She respects her feelings. She knows that love is just a beautiful feeling, nothing else. But people around her  are not sensible enough to understand her feelings. They think that she is characterless and a crazy girl who doesn’t know the moral values of life. But she always raise the question against why girls are forced to follow all the society rules, ristrictions and limitations. Even her family members like her chacha-chachi thinks that she is a characterless girl. Chandani is very scared of her father at the same time, very close to her Bua. Bua is the only one who is very loving and supportive to chandani. She understands her feelings, thoughts & her innocence like no one else. Chandani’s father plans to get Chandani married with a well educated guy Shekhar who believes that he wants to know chandani first and then may decide the future about their relationship. Chandani shares a healthy friendship with Shekhar and at the same time Shekhar falls in love with Chandani’s innocence and her open mindedness… Just then Chandani finds the man of her life Vishal… and falls in love with him. Chandani goes against her father’s decision and marries VIshal. Contrary to the Chandani’s nature, Vishal’s family is totally conservative. She has no liberty to do basic things of life on her own.
