To celebrate this medley of myriad flavors, Foodhall - India’s premium lifestyle food superstore, kick started Thai food fiesta - Yum Thai festival across Foodhall stores in Pune, Bangalore and Mumbai from 7th June to 7th July 2015. This food festival is in association with The Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand. The Thailand Consul General Mr. Nat Pinyowattanacheep flagged off the Yum Thai festival at Foodhall @ Palladium last evening. Patrons present at the store got a chance to witness the live cooking demo of scrumptious Thai Green Curry by Mr. Jirajett Wongnorraset.
THE AUTHENTIC THAI DELICACIES AT LIVE COUNTER
Thai food trail begins at the live counter with Red Thai Curry Paste, Green Thai Curry Paste, Pad Thai Noodles, Thai Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce, Sautéed Greens in Basil and Chili sauce. Apart from these lip-smacking Thai dishes, there are many pastes and dipping sauce such as Chili Jaggery Sauce, Tamarind Dipping Sauce and Peanut Dipping Sauce for the patrons. Fruits are used in an innovative manner in salad recipes like Som Tam Salad (green papaya salad), Raw Mango Salad and Thai Pomelo (Grapefruit) Salad.
THE CAFE MENU
Offering more to the taste buds of the customers is the Foodhall’s cafe menu - Red Thai Curry with Jasmine Rice, Green Thai Curry with Jasmine Rice, Tofu Satay with Peanut Sauce, Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, Thai Corn Cakes with Sweet Chili Sauce. A live Thai Wok will assemble the best flavours of East Asia – Vegetarian Tom Kha Soup, Chicken Tom Yum Soup with homemade fresh pasta such as Fresh Egg Noodles and Flat Rice Noodles.
